About Me

My name is Tania and I live in Canberra, Australia with my wonderful husband of 20+ years, our son Jake,  two cats, and the new addition to our family our gorgeous little dog, Katie.

I have been making cards and other paper items, sewing, scrapbooking and quilting since I was a kid and I was recently introduced to Stampin’ Up! at a workshop and was hooked then and there. The products are high quality, beautifully co-ordinated and reasonably priced. I joined as a Demonstrator because I love being creative, meeting people and sharing my creations with others and the added bonus..20% off product! I find that craft helps reduce my stress levels after a hectic week in my full time job, being a mum and wife and running a household. There is nothing better than hiding away in your ceative space to take you away from it all!

One of the best things about loving what you do is that it’s wonderful to share and I would love to share new ideas, techniques and events with you.  If you are interested in a workshop or would like to know more about upcoming classes or Stampin’ Up! products, subscribe or email me at tania_willis@bigpond.com so you won’t miss a thing.

Happy Crafting

  1. Thanks so much Tania. That video is great. It certainly makes a nicer looking star than the videos I had seen.

I’m glad you had a nice time here in Sydney & a chance to get away. It was nice just to have a day away from my family particularly as one of my boys had been sick all week. I was desperate to have some time to myself by Saturday morning.

Looking forward to seeing your posts now I’m following you.

  2. Hi Tania

I saw you on Saturday at the Heartfelt Event and really enjoyed your demonstration on making the 5 point stars.

I had been making them at home myself prior to see you demonstrate and your stars come out so much better than mine!!

I think you had a slightly different way of folding them. For instance, I noticed that you ended up with a nice negative image once you had cut the star out. This never happens for me and I was wondering if you could give me some hints.

i am giving a class on it on Friday night and I’d really like to get it right before then if you’re not too busy.

Thanks again for a great demonstration and for sharing your time with us on Saturday.

    • Hi Annette – thanks for your kind comments and I’m so glad you enjoyed the day – wasn’t it great! I had such a wonderful time and it was so nice to get away for the weekend. I haven’t had the chance to put up my projects on my blog but will with a link to a video that I have sourced in the next few days. In the meantime, here’s the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxjxUIoPp-A hopefully it will help – I found one that it is almost the same as how I made mine, the only exceptions are the two ‘guide’ folds (the second and third folds in the video). You will remember I just ‘popped’ the centre of each so the intersection was a guide.

Hope it works out – let me know how you go!
