Heartfelt Christmas Projects

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been madly preparing my presentation and Heartfelt Christmas Projects  for the Sydney Heartfelt Event and now I get to show you what I’ve been working on.  Yay!!!

I presented to groups of demonstrators throughout a two hour timeslot and had such a great time.  They were all so lovely and supportive I felt right at home.  No nerves whatsoever!!  My presentation revolved around how to make a Christmas tree using the heart punch (more tomorrow on this one) and a 3D star.   I love love love these stars because a quick and easy project like this means I can have fun with glitter and ribbon and buttons and well…you get the picture…right??

I promised a number of demonstrators that I would source a good video and pop up a link.  I hope you enjoy.  It’s one of those projects you need to sit down and make during the presentation but once you get it, it’s easy peasy, you don’t need a template and you can make any size star you like.  All you need is a square of paper, a pair of  scissors and a bone folder.

Keep an eye out…because I’ll be sharing a few more projects over the next few days as well as the deets for a super duper, absolute bargain Stampin Up! Christmas Stamp-a-stack class planned for December 2.  Save the date for this great class – you won’t believe the value!

Happy stamping

Just Add Ink Challenge Winner

So I just got home from work, sat down to read my emails and noticed a comment congratulating me on winning. Winning…what do you mean winning…surely I didn’t win the Just Add Ink Challenge?  I’m saying this out loud…while my son looks at me as if I’ve gone batty. So I head on over to the JAI blog and there’s my Petal Cone gift boxes announced as winner. Yay!!! Super excited!

What a great way to finish a hectic day.  Thank you so much to the Just Add Ink Design Team for choosing my project this week. You have made my day!

Happy Christmas stamping!

Need Last Minute Gift Ideas?

So much for my promise to share my last spice cake creation on Tuesday!  I was ready to go but unfortunately we lost our phone and internet connection which was only fixed yesterday.  This predicament has made me realise that I am, absolutely, no question about it, addicted to blogging and surfing!  I have been the biggest cranky pants during the past few days.

Anyway…I’m back and raring to go.  Before I share my last spice cake creation, I want to share these gorgeous little gift boxes I made today for the current, too cute to resist, Just Add Ink Challenge.  I found inspiration from every element of this photo, from the colours, the bling, the handbags, and of course, the company…Tiffany’s.  Don’t you think that a little item from Tiffany’s would fit perfectly in one of these? And better yet…they not only make gorgeous gift boxes for that someone special, they are also  beautiful, handmade decorations for the Christmas tree.

And here is the inspirational photo
