So much for my promise to share my last spice cake creation on Tuesday! I was ready to go but unfortunately we lost our phone and internet connection which was only fixed yesterday. This predicament has made me realise that I am, absolutely, no question about it, addicted to blogging and surfing! I have been the biggest cranky pants during the past few days.
Anyway…I’m back and raring to go. Before I share my last spice cake creation, I want to share these gorgeous little gift boxes I made today for the current, too cute to resist, Just Add Ink Challenge. I found inspiration from every element of this photo, from the colours, the bling, the handbags, and of course, the company…Tiffany’s. Don’t you think that a little item from Tiffany’s would fit perfectly in one of these? And better yet…they not only make gorgeous gift boxes for that someone special, they are also beautiful, handmade decorations for the Christmas tree.
And here is the inspirational photo

Whilst we are on the subject of gift ideas. I now have gift vouchers available and the best thing about gift vouchers is that from 24 January – 31 March 2012, Stampin’ Up! start the best and biggest promotion of the year…SALE-A-BRATION! The best thing about SALE-A-BRATION is that for every $100 you spend you get a fabulous gift and I can tell you now the gifts are simply gorgeous. What better way to spend your Chrissy voucher! I will be sharing sneak peeks between now and then so be sure to check back regularly or better yet, sign up to receive notifications by email.
If you would like more details about gift vouchers or any of today’s projects, email me at: email@example.com
I was inspired by a work colleague today – someone who absolutely loves Christmas and is always super organised and gives us regular updates on the number of days until the big day. I’m hopeless – always running around at the last minute trying to find that special gift for someone and then basically just doing with what I can find! Disgraceful! So…now that I have my creative mojo back…I have decided to make cards and gifts this year. Yep…you read right and now I have to deliver.
This card is the first of many and is inspired by this wonderful woman who has, over the last few years, helped me to find my Christmas spirit again and I am looking forward to sharing my creations with you over the next few months.
Oh…and just so you know…it’s 4 months (that’s 123 days) to Christmas! This means it’s time for a Christmas card class. I’m planning to run one on Sunday 25 September from 2.00pm. The cost will be $30 ($15 deposit to be paid when booking). This will include all supplies and you will make 10 cards. The design above is one sample and I will add more over the next few days. Numbers are limited to eight people but I will run another in October and November. If you are interested, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me on my mobile on 0401173203. If you prefer, I can come to you (minimum 6 people) just let me know your preference when you book.
